曹佳民，男，1986年生，博士，副教授，硕士生导师。2015年在中科院国家纳米科学中心获博士学位，同年加入湖南科技大学理论有机化学与功能分子教育部重点实验室。2018年8月至2019年8月受CSC资助，在瑞典查尔姆斯理工大学访问学者一年。2017年获国家自然科学基金委青年基金项目资助。研究方向为有机太阳能电池，在设计合成新型内酰胺类受体单元上取得了系列工作。以第一作者（并列一作）或通讯作者在《Energy Environ. Sci.》、《Nano Energy》、《Chem. Commun.》、《J. Mater. Chem. A》、《Macromolecules》、《Dyes and Pigments》等期刊上发表SCI文章十余篇，其中《Energy Environ. Sci.》（影响因子为30.67）被引100多次。研究成果申请中国发明专利2件，已授权1件。
